Fabric that respects the body
Every piece in this drop is made from pure cotton or TENCEL™. These fibres allow air circulation, gentle insulation, and drape naturally through changing weather. No synthetics or static.
Made in small batches, no mass production
Every piece starts in-house and is made with a small, trusted tailoring unit. We keep batches limited so we can check each one and ensure ethical working conditions
Rooted in values, not trend cycles
We design with principles like modesty and restraint, not hype. Each piece is made to honour your body and simplify your wardrobe.

The Tencel Set
Crafted from sustainably sourced wood pulp, TENCEL™ is a silky-soft, breathable, and naturally kind to skin.
FAQs
How can I be sure of the fabric quality without touching it?
A fair question, and honestly, one of the reasons we started Rūh. We only use natural fibres like cotton and TENCEL™, chosen for how they feel, breathe, and support your health.
We’re working towards more formalized certifications, but as a small business with limited resources, it’s not an instant process. In the meantime, we plan to share more behind-the-scenes content on how we test and verify our fabrics ourselves.
We know photos don't do justice. If you ever need more pictures or details, you can always DM us on Instagram, and we'd be happy to help.
Why do you use a pre-order model?
We use a pre-order model to avoid overproduction, reduce waste, and stay in full control of our fabric and tailoring process. It allows us to make only what’s needed, giving each piece the time and attention it deserves.
As a small business managing everything in-house, this approach helps us maintain quality at every stage. Once ready, every order is carefully packed and shipped with care from the UK.
Where do you manufacteur, and how are you sure its ethical?
Our pieces are made in Ajman, UAE, at a small tailoring unit we’ve chosen carefully. We work directly with the facility, visit during the process, and have full visibility.
The unit operates on fair wages, normal working hours, and a clean, well-lit, air-conditioned space. For us, this isn’t just good practice. It’s part of our amanah to deal fairly and uphold trust with both our customers and our supply chain.
Is your sizing inclusive?
Currently, it's not. Most tailoring units require higher minimums to produce a wider size range, and with our small batch sizes, it isn’t possible just yet.
But we hear you. We’re working on including more plus sizes, tall-friendly cuts, and breastfeeding access in our upcoming drop. If you’re unsure about fit or have specific needs, feel free to DM us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Where do you ship from?
We currently ship all orders from the UK. If you’re based closer to our production location in the UAE, we may be able to arrange shipping from there to reduce delivery time or costs. Just message us before placing your order and we’ll do our best to help.
If you’re ordering from the EU, please note that customs duties, VAT, and processing fees may apply on arrival. These are set by your country’s authorities and are not included in your order total. These aren't in our control, but we're actively looking into smoother workarounds for the future.
For the US, recent changes have removed the previous $800 de minimis threshold for some shipments. This means your order may now be subject to import duties or fees depending on customs regulations at the time of delivery.
We’ll always do what we can to support you through the process, feel free to DM if you’re unsure.
Can I return or exchange?
Since our pieces are made in small batches and often on pre-order, we’re currently unable to offer returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
That being said, we want you to feel confident before you order. If you’re unsure about sizing, fabric, or fit, feel free to DM us beforehand.
